Flora and
Fauna

Discover the tranquility and uniqueness of Western Australia’s natural bushland.

Discover the native flora and fauna of the South West as you wander the extensive native bushlands in Manjimup Heritage Park. With over 12 hectares of parkland to explore, you will discover different varieties of trees, flowers and animals as you visit through changing seasons.

Visit during August to November and keep your eyes peeled for at least 30 species of wildflowers native to the area.

Check out our Significant Trees of the Park Brochure, or pick one up at the Visitor Centre, to help you identify the Australian and non-Australian varieties. The Park is also home to a number of community led gardening initiatives including the Hamlet garden which features heritage plantings that represent settlers’ gardens, the Manjimup Community Garden, the Commonwealth Grove and a number of rehabilitated wetland and bushland projects.

Please be aware snakes are active in the Parkland, particularly around the bushland and wetland areas.

Supervision of children around water bodies is essential.
