Attraction

Rail
Relics

Climb aboard 109 Locomotive and meander through the Rail Relics display to discover how railways helped shape the local timber industry.

Take a journey along the timber railway and learn about the role rail played in the development of the timber industry. As you walk through the Rail Relics grounds you will discover conserved equipment and machines that helped transport timber from the region to the rest of the State and beyond.

Get up close to locomotives and haulers from the 1890s, equipment used to pull logs through the forest and timber milling machinery that worked day and night to keep the industry alive.
