Family Friendly Heritage Tours
Join this family friendly tour of the Hamlet and explore what it was like to settle in a small timber town. Out tour guides are well versed and well engaged locals. The tour comes with exercises targeted towards school aged children. A fun and interactive way for families to engage with histories and compare the ye old days to their modern way of living.

Museum Discovery Tours
The tour covers both the Power Up Electricity Museum and State Timber Museum.
The Power Up Electricity Museum tour provides insights into how the museum came about, stories about the objects and caring for the collection, how electricity has impacted regional development in Western Australia and a view into the future of power in Western Australia.
Followed by a special tour of the Refurbished State Timber Museum. Get a unique insight into the national award winning, foremost important museum on the timber industry in Western Australia. Hear how the timber industry has shaped out past, present and future and learn about the culture and technology around the industry.

Special Exhibition- Gas: Early Power in Western Australia
A temporary exhibition in the Round House featuring a range of objects demonstrating the use of gas as early power in Western Australia. Objects cover generation, transmission, distribution and domestic use of gas.
Visit the Blacksmith Shop in the Hamlet to watch Carnage Creations revive a traditional trade with blacksmith demonstrations.
